Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis, officially completed a 6-month development project with the dedication of the $3.6 million Standard Process® Student Center at a ribbon-cutting event held on the school’s Chesterfield campus. The 6,500 square-foot facility is the latest construction project at the college over a 3-year period.
The new student center includes both recreation and relaxation areas and a new Student Services Office which serves as a buffer between these different use areas. It features a mezzanine level with all natural light throughout the space and a cascading waterfall. The center’s amenities also include a bank of HD televisions, game room, Internet access, collaborative study tables, meeting rooms, and a grab ‘n go for distinctive healthy sandwiches, salads and fruit along with a variety of beverages. The project also included the renovation of nearby restroom facilities and hallways with updated finishes and new lighting.
“Construction of a modern, state-of-the-art center where Logan students can gather is an important part of our ongoing plan to improve and enhance all of Logan’s campus facilities,” said George Goodman, DC, president of Logan College of Chiropractic.
“The Standard Process Student Center is a high-energy area with a comfortable ambiance that provides Logan students a fun, lively and energetic place to gather and study, grab a healthy snack, check the latest sports scores, enjoy recreation opportunities or just visit with their classmates. We deeply appreciate the generosity of Standard Process and all our donors in their gifts to our student center project,” said Goodman.
