One-on-One With an Industry Expert

Richard La Bianco, chiropractic division sales manager for (877) D-STRESS FOR LESS, which handles all direct doctor sales nationally for Sensa Products International Inc.

Why should chiropractors offer a massage bed with infrared technology in their practices?

The traditional intersegmental traction tables on the market are ineffective at reaching deep muscle tissue. There is no detoxification taking place, and while a correction in posture and a stretching of the vertebrae may be occurring, it is a forced correction. Far Infrared heat reaches deep within the muscle mass, relaxing the muscles and vertebrae in an unprecedented manner. As such, a smoother, pain-free, and much more comprehensive intersegmental traction occurs with the added benefit of detoxification and enhanced relaxation.

How can having a massage lounge chair help chiropractors attract and retain new patients and decrease no-shows?

Patients are not fond of time spent in waiting rooms. The longer they wait, the harder it will be to retain them as patients. Additionally, patients will feel a reluctance to drive to their chiropractor to wait for attention and relief. This is a catch-22 for the chiropractic professional: On one hand, they must provide the best service possible, but they must do this in an extremely short period of time to ensure that patients don’t wait too long and become dissatisfied. Inevitably, this has an adverse effect upon the practice. Having massage loungers in the waiting room allows the patient to enjoy the time spent waiting, and furthermore, allows the doctor to devote quality time to each individual, thereby dramatically increasing patient satisfaction and decreasing no-shows.

What other bed products are available, and how can chiropractors make a profit by selling these products?

Sensa Products International manufactures the highest quality memory- foam beds and pillows on the market today.

These products are made entirely in California under strict OCEA and EPA guidelines. As such, they contain only water-based solvents, not the chemically harsh solvents used by other manufacturers. Doctors can sell these products to their patients and make a 50% profit upon every product sold.

The credibility factor a doctor possesses is of tremendous benefit when selling products to patients. The chiropractic patient trusts their doctor, and therefore, the sale is typically facilitated with an ease unprecedented in typical retail environments.

What technical support is available for chiropractors?

Whenever there is a question regarding the products, the doctor can call toll free, (877) D-STRESS. Sensa Products International has an international warranty-fulfillment department, and furthermore, a technician is always on hand to aid the chiropractic professional. However, the owner’s manuals that come with each product are quite informative, and products have been refined and rigorously quality controlled over the years to not allow a significant need for technical assistance or warranty repair. With regard to warranty of massage loungers and Far Infrared intersegmental traction beds, Sensa is one of the only manufacturers that does not void the 3-year warranty on the product for clinical use.
