New FCA President Serves as US Olympic DC
Jeffrey Solomon, DC, DACBSP, who was recently elected president of the Florida
Chiropractic Association (FCA), served as the official DC of the US Olympic Team at the
2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy, in February. Jeffrey Solomon, DC, DACBSP
Solomon, who has focused on sports chiropractic since being a student athlete, is the
current president of the American Chiropractic Association Council on Sports Injuries and
Physical Fitness.
A veteran chiropractor for more than 20 years, Solomon will chair a 22-member board
responsible for the development of the FCAs policy on such issues as public
education, benefit programs, and access to care.
While at the reins of the FCA, I plan to continue to push the importance of
chiropractic as a mainstream profession and not as an alternative form of health
care, Solomon says.
Everyone has a dentist that maintains oral hygiene. Everyone should have a
chiropractor to maintain the body and keep it in top physical condition.
Soloman is also past president of the Miami-Dade County Chiropractic Society.
He also serves as a consultant to various government, education, and sports
organizations. |
