FIRST Sponsorship
Performance Health Inc sponsors the Florida Immediate Response Stress Team (FIRST), a nonprofit, volunteer organization, comprised of a group of several hundred licensed massage therapists who respond to disasters. FIRST’s mission is to provide stress relief to those in need following a disaster or critical incident. FIRST provides chair massages and stress management to rescue workers, responders, and victims. Spinal Trauma Conference
The ACA, ICA, and Rehab Council introduce the International Spinal Trauma Conference on June 20–22 in Chicago at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare.

Brian O’Neill (left), president of the Insurance Institute for HIghway Safety and Highway Loss Data Institute will make an appearance. He is a highway safety expert consulted frequently by both print and electronic media, appearing regularly on NBC’s “Dateline,” other news magazine shows, and news programs. O’Neill is the author of scientific papers, coauthor of The Injury Fact Book, and has served on the boards and committees of many highway safety groups. He currently directs the institute’s Vehicle Research Center.

The event offers 22 CEU hours, which have been applied for in all 50 states through the Palmer Institute for Professional Advancement.
