Hydraulically Controlled Hylo Table
Lloyd Table Co offers the Galaxy McManis Hylo Table, a flexion distraction table designed with doctors and patients in mind. Available in 22-inch to 30-inch heights, it features adjustable head, chest, lumbar, and ankle cushions. Simple control levers provide control of the pelvic flexion with side bending, rotation, and traction.
The standard chest lumbar section, with spring breakaway, is designed to accommodate pregnant or larger abdominal patients. A lumbar extension combined with extendable and retractable pelvic and ankle sections make it possible to accommodate patients from 5 to 611.
Manual and automatic cocking drops are optional on all sections, including the optional rotating chest and forward motion/straight drop headpiece or Total Dimension Headpiece. Chest and lumbar drops can be individually operated while in a rotated position with manual and/or automatic cocking. A specially designed spring release is available with the drop chest and lumbar. The automatic cocking drops are built into the table with controls on each side that can be set manually in the event of electrical failures. No compressor is required.
A flexion T-bar that retracts downward and sideways is also an optional feature. In addition, hardening- and crack-resistant Nauga-plus upholstery is available in a range of colors.

Seminar Series
Foot Levelers Inc introduces four applied kinesiology experts to its seminar series, Functional Assessment of Neuromusculoskeletal Conditions. Incorporating research and techniques from chiropractic, osteopathy, and other health care fields, these seminars specifically address the diagnosis of neurological disturbances of the lumbar and cervical spine.
The four added experts are George Goodheart, DC, DIBAK; Robert Blaich, DC, DIBAK; David Leaf, DC, DIBAK; and Evan Mladenoff, DC, DIBAK. Goodheart founded applied kinesiology and publishes an annual research manual. Leaf is chairman of the International Council of Applied Kinesiology-USA. He has conducted seminars throughout the world since 1977. In addition, he has worked with numerous professional and Olympic athletes and currently serves as the chiropractic physician for the Italian professional soccer team, AC Milan. Leaf practices in Plymouth, Mass.
Mladenoff works with professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB. He has published numerous articles on applied kinesiology, acupuncture, sports chiropractic and nutrition for athletes under stress. He practices in Overland Park, Kan.

Topical Pain Reliever
NF Formulas introduces Joint Gel, an over-the-counter topical pain reliever. Featuring an easy-to-use roll-on applicator, it can be used for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains associated with arthritis, back pain, sprains, and strains. Joint Gel is specifically designed for patient application or in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments. Distraction Table

The mission of the Center is to provide chiropractic care for children. Its goals are to help children and their families learn to take responsibility for their own health and to show the public the power of chiropractic and a natural way of life.
Oklahaven sponsors an annual fundraising event in February called Have-A-Heart. During the week of Valentines Day, chiropractors show The Centers video. Sigafoose, DC, who is recognized worldwide for his inspirational chiropractic philosophy and motivational skills, especially as a TEAM teacher with PSPS Seminars; and DE for more than 25 years. The Golden Achievement Award for Clinical Excellence went to George Goodheart, DC, the author, founder, and developer of Applied Kinesiology, who continues to teach all over the world. Goodheart was the first chiropractor to serve in the US Olympics. The Golden Achievement Award for the Advancement of Chiropractic through Publishing Excellence recipient was Donald Petersen, Jr, BS, HCD (hc), FICC (h), the editor and publisher of Dynamic Chiropractic magazine.
The final and more prestigious honor, the Dr Monte Greenawalt Chiropractic Excellence Award, was given to Mark Charrette, DC. Charrette began building million-dollar practices within 1 year of graduating from Palmer College. He became an educator, specializing in extremities, developing proprietary protocols for extremity adjusting to make adjustments last longer and hold stronger.
