Nutritional Training Seminars

productDarkfield Health Sciences Institute offers live blood cell analysis and functional nutritional educational seminars are scientifically based and allow the health care provider to design a patient’s specific nutritional support program.

Live blood cell analysis predicts long-term health care. In addition, the analysis will assist in balancing the body to enhance overall health.

The live blood cell analysis course consists of learning skills necessary to implement dark field microcopy into an existing business. Students learn how to take a blood sample and evaluate its shapes and other properties of the individual blood cell, detect conditions which may adversely affect a patient’s health, and detect nutritional disorders in the infancy stage.

In live blood cell analysis, the microscope is designed as a screening tool only, and does not lend itself to diagnosing diseases, but rather eliminates the guesswork of selecting the appropriate nutrients for an individual’s needs.

For additional information, contact Darkfield Health Sciences Institute, 507 A Ave, Lake Oswego, OR 97034; 866-636-5438.

The accuracy and reproducibility of this system, combined with its documentation, makes it effective for all health care professionals involved with personal, automobile, industrial, and sports injuries. The system will eliminate the subjective manual or handheld methods of testing currently used, and provide objective, accurate, clear, and precise documentation of soft tissue injuries.

Myogauge sends trained technicians to install each system and provides in-office comprehensive training to doctors and staff members, including proper CPT coding and billing procedures. After training is complete, clinics will receive a certificate of course completion from the company.

All personal injury attorneys within a 50-mile radius of each office will be sent a letter from the company explaining which doctors currently use the system in their area and how the objective verifiable documentation will allow them to obtain higher settlements for their clients.

Neck Therapy

Gibbons Health Products introduces Oriental Neck Therapy, a product designed for neck tightness, neck pain, headaches, pinched nerves, arthritis, and disc problems. This market is expanding due to increased computer use, long commutes to work, recent or past athletic and auto injuries, increased stress, and aging baby-boomers.

Users place the product around the neck and Velcro it together in the back. Pumping the inflation bulb inflates the product, providing a gradual neck stretch. It is easy to add or release air to provide a comfortable stretch.

After using the product and doing a few simple stretches, the neck feels looser and moves easier, with added comfort. Currently the Oriental Neck Therapy comes in sizes regular and large.

One side of the product’s box is printed in English, while the other is printed in Spanish and Chinese. The instruction sheet also includes 3 languages.

For additional information, contact Gibbons Health Products, 3808 Riverside Dr, Suite 105, Burbank, CA 91505; 818-563-1990; fax: 818-563-2098.

Crescent Products Inc introduces the Crescent Side Sleeper, a memory pillow designed for back and side sleeping.

The Side Sleeper is a combination memory foam pillow that allows the user to make a natural transition from back to side sleeping without interruption for hand positioning the pillow.

Its shape supports the head and neck for proper cervical support while back sleeping, and it slopes outward for ease in moving to the side position. The pillow is available in 5- and 6-in thicknesses.

Brochure Series

Patient Media Inc announces that William Esteb has added five new titles to his “What Patients Want to Know” brochure series. The new titles include Children, Disc, Extremities, Neck Pain, and Spinal Decay.

The five new titles from Patient Media join the original 10 titles which have just received new cover designs and are now printed on brighter, uncoated paper to reduce reflections and improve reading ease. The heavier paper stock also gives doctors the opportunity to have their brochures imprinted with their name, address, and other practice information.
